Recovering road warrior. Spent more than my fair share of nights in big corporate hotel chains, standing in line at the check-in, swiping the credit card, hoping that little plastic keycard in the paper folder is for a room far away from the elevator and the slamming doors all night. All I want when I'm traveling is the comforts of home, from great water pressure in the shower with endless hot water, to fluffy clean sheets to fall into. Quiet. The sounds of a neighborhood in the morning instead of the metallic CLACK CLACK!..."housekeeping!" at first light coming down the hallway. We have a dog, two pampered cats and twoTNR ferals who we like the best out of the whole bunch. We also work with Guide Dogs of America in their puppy program as puppy sitters/fosters. We are hands-off hosts because really, it's your trip and your space while you're in it. But if you want an ally along the way, we're happy to point you in the right direction and make sure you make the most of your visit. We love meeting people from cities all over the world and showing them ours.
